Features
- Made of Ti6Al7Nb alloy, the nail has an elastic design that can revert back to its original state, even after 90° bending.
- With its 150° angled and bayonet-shaped design tip, it facilitates passing through the fracture line.
- It offers application options with antegrade and retrograde techniques, suitable for minimally invasive surgical approach.
- During the application, both TEPs can be applied monolaterally or one medial and the other lateral.
- In cases where the AWL is not preferred to be used for the preparation of the entrance, an alternative set design that allows the use of drills, is available.
Indications
- Although it varies according to the patient’s age, fracture site and fracture type, it is mainly used in the treatment of diaphyseal and metaphyseal fractures in children.
- It can be used in children from 3 to 15 years of age with TEP intramedullary nailing system in upper and lower extremity long bones (transverse oblique short spiral diaphyseal fractures and metaphyseal fractures).
